✅ EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Cut-off Date: Educational qualification, relevant post-qualification experience and upper age limit will be counted as on 31.08.2026.
- Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on 31.08.2026. Age relaxation, if any, will be as per the official notification / Government of India rules.
- Marks: Minimum 60% or equivalent CGPI in the essential engineering degree. While filling the form, percentage should be rounded off to the lower whole number (e.g. 60.9 as 60) and CGPA to the lower decimal (e.g. 6.95 as 6.9).
Position A – Associate Engineer Gr.I Inspection (Mechanical / Metallurgical) – 16 Posts
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years post-qualification relevant experience in inspection of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns / towers, reactors and other major fabricated static equipment manufactured as per ASME, or pumps / compressors manufactured and tested as per API for refinery and petrochemical services. Sound knowledge of welding processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings and codes is desirable.
Position B – Associate Engineer Gr.I Inspection (Electrical) – 04 Posts
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years post-qualification relevant experience in inspection of electrical equipment such as switch boards, motors, transformers, alternators, synchronous generators, VFDs, UPS, electrical control systems, battery chargers, power / control cables and electrical bulk items. Knowledge of IEC, NEC and IS codes is essential.
