The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following Project positions under the new Scientific / Academic and Infrastructure Apex Projects of the Institute on consolidated salary. The positions indicated under the projects concerned, are proposed to be filled purely on contractual basis only under the funded Projects initially for a period of one year from the date of appointment but extendable subject to performance & subject to approval of the competent authority up to 3 years or up to completion of the project tenure whichever maybe earlier and not beyond & there is no scope of continuation / regularization / absorption under any circumstances. The last date for receipt of applications is 5th July 2019.

The IMSc founded by Alladi Ramakrishnan in 1962, is an autonomous national institution for fundamental research in the areas of Theoretical Physics, Mathematics, Theoretical Computer Science and Computational Biology. Minimum Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in concerned discipline from a recognized university with first class, 60% marks.
Selection Process: Written test followed by Interview only shortlisted candidates on the same day (OR) Direct interview in case no. of candidates appeared for written test is less than five.
Venue of Written Test / Interview: To be announced by IMSc along with list of shortlisted candidates to be displayed during 10th July to 12th July 2019.
