Pay Level:
Scientist -> Pay matrix 11/1 Initial Pay ₹ 67,700/- as per 7th CPC + usual allowances as per rules.
Senior Scientist -> Pay matrix 12/1 Initial pay ₹ 78,800/- as per 7th CPC + usual allowances as per rules.
Essential Educational Qualifications:
Scientist -> Ph.D Submitted (Science/ Engineering) (OR) ME/ M.Tech/ M.Vet. Sci./ MD.
Senior Scientist -> Ph.D (Engineering) OR Ph.D (Science) with 2 Years experience in relevant area OR ME / M.Tech / M.D. / M.Vet.(Sci.) with
3 Years experience in relevant area.
Application Fee: A crossed Demand Draft (DD) for ₹ 500/- drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of "Director, NISCAIR" payable at New Delhi. The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate's Name, (ii) Candidate's Category, (iii) Post Applied For. The fee exempted for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad Candidates.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply Online through NISCAIR Website OR can apply offline by using the print out of the application form. The closing date for submission ofo nline application is 01/10/2017 up to 5:30 PM.
The computer generated application (Hard Copy) duly accompanied by attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size self-signed photograph affixed together with Demand Draft (if applicable) should be sent to "The Administrative Officer, National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), Pusa Campus, Dr. K S Krishnan Marg, New Delhi – 110012" by Post.
