Qualification and Experience:
Engineer Mate ->
(1) Holder of engine driver of Fishing Vessel Certificate issued by MMD.
(2) 10th Class or equivalent.
(3) 5 years sea experience.
Artisan ->
(1) Diploma in Mech./ Electrical Engineering / National Certificate of vocational training / Apprenticeship in reputed craft building yard in hull construction in Fibre Class Re-inforce Plastic with minimum 04 years experience.
(2) Two years practical experience on Diesel Engine repair / Electrical and Electronics equipment repairs / Fibre Class Re-inforce Plastic and Wooden Craft repairs.
Engine Driver ->
(1) 8th Standard Pass.
(2) 10 Years service on Sea going vessel with 05 years independent auxiliary machinery.
Launch Mechanic ->
(1) 8th Standard Pass.
(2) 05 Years service on Sea going vessel with 01 year independent auxiliary machinery.
Tindel ->
(1) 8th Standard Pass.
(2) 10 Years service on Sea going vessel with 05 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
Sukhani ->
(1) 8th Standard Pass.
(2) 07 Years service on Sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
Sr. Deckhand ->
(1) 8th Standard Pass.
(2) 05 Years service on Sea going vessel with 2 years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Greaser ->
(1) 10th (Matric) Pass or equivalent.
(2) 03 Years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
Seaman ->
(1) 10th (Matric) Pass or equivalent.
(2) 03 Years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with 02 years in helmsman and seamanship work.
