Government of India, Office of the Chief Commissioner Of Central Excise, Bangalore invites applications from Outstanding Sports persons for appointment of Tax Assistant, Stenographer and Havaldar under Sports Quota. The last date for submission of applications is 31st March 2016.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01/03/2016. However, relaxation of Upper age limit upto a maximum of 5 years (10 years in case of those belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) is allowed for the purpose of appointment.
Sports Eligibility: Outstanding Sportspersons active in Hockey (Men) / Basketball (Men) / Cricket (Men) / Kabaddi (Men) / Athletics (Men/Women) / Individual Games (Men/Women) - Shuttle Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis, Swimming, Chess, Carrrom.
Eligibility for consideration: Sportspersons who have represented:-
(1) A State/Country in the National/International competitions; or
(2) University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board; (OR)
(3) State Schools Team in the National Sports / Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation; (OR)
(4) Those who have been awarded National Awards in Physical efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
