Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi will be conducting the 9th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 21st February 2016 (Sunday). CBSE CTET Examination to be eligible for appointment of Teacher for Class I to VIII in Schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the Administrative Control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi..The closing date for online registration is 28th December 2015

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) ->

(1) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). [OR]
(2) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. [OR]
(3) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). [OR]
(4) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). [OR]
(5) Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) ->

(1) Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). [OR]
(2) Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). [OR]
(3) Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. [OR]
(4) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). [OR]
(5) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed. [OR]
(6) Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
