Educational Qualifications:
(a) Pass Higher Secondary of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(b) Must have a two (2) year Diploma in Para Medical Ophthalmic Assistants Course / a two (2) year Diploma Course in Optometry & Ophthalmic Technique recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
(c) Desirable - One year training after acquiring Diploma in Optometry recognized by the Government of WB, in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Act, 1950 and the rules made thereafter.
Selection Process: 50 Marks (Higher Secondary - 13 Marks, Experience - 10 Marks, Interview - 07 Marks)
