Educational Qualifications:
Academic Registrar -> A post-graduate degree from a recognized University with at least 55 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; along with (i) at least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above, or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor, along with experience in educational administration; or (ii) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education; or (iii) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Assistant Controller of Examination -> A post-graduate degree from a recognized University with at least 55 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale. Knowledge of computer office applications.
Store Officer -> A post-graduate degree from a recognized University with at least 55 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; service experience for at least 07 (seven) years in the line of general administration, out of which 5(five) years must be in a responsible post in the rank of Superintendent or equivalent or still higher post in Govt./ Semi Govt. or recognized Public Institutions/ Undertakings; functional computer literacy.
Junior Assistant -> An under-graduate degree from a recognized University with at least 50 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; functional computer literacy.
Administrative Helper -> High School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board with at least 50 per cent marks.
Executive Engineer -> B.E./B. Tech. or its equivalent degree from a recognized Institute/University with at least 50 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; service experience for at least 15 years in the line of engineering services, out of which 10(ten) years must be in a responsible post.
Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical) -> B.E./B. Tech. or its equivalent degree/ diploma in (Civil / Electrical) Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with at least 50 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; functional computer literacy.
Electrician -> A diploma in electrical engineering from a recognized Institute or electrician trade certificate from a recognized ITI.
Plumber -> A diploma in mechanical engineering from a recognized Institute or plumber trade certificate from a recognized ITI.
Technical Assistant -> A degree/diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute/ University with at least 50 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; should be knowledgeable about different operating systems including linux-based ones.
Application Fee: Applications for posts with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,000/- and above must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- only as processing fee for the application; while for posts with a Grade Pay of less than Rs. 4,000/- the application must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 /— only as processing fee. Reserved Category applicants need to pay 50 per cent of the above specified amount. All drafts must be made payable to COTTON COLLEGE STATE UNIVERSITY, and should be payable at Guwahati Branch (code 0078). This fee will NOT be refunded. A candidate is requested to write his / her name, advertisement number and the serial number of the post behind the Demand Draft.
