Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate of Census Operations, Sikkim office proposes to fill-up following Group 'C' posts (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) on deputation basis initial period of one year from amongst the officials of Central/State Government Departments.

Eligibility:
Senior Compiler -> Officials of the Central Government/State Government holding analogous posts or with 5 (five) years regular service in the posts In the pay band PB-1 (5200-20200) with Grade Pay Rs 2400 or equivalent Preference will be given to those possessing the qualification of "Degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as a subject from any recognized University".
Assistant Compiler -> Officers of the Central Government or Stale Government or Union Territories : (a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis, or (ii) with three years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the posts in the Pay Band-I (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay Rs 1800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and (b) possessing the following educational and other qualifications: Essential: (i) 12th Class or equivalent Quantification from a recognized Board or University. (ii) Skill test norms only on computers: (a) English typing @ 35 words per minute or (b) Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute (Time allowed -10 mts.) [35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour/ 9000 Key Depression Per Hour on an average of 5 key depression for each word] (iii) Desirable: 'O' level certificate in Computer from an Institution recognized by the Department of Information Technology., Government of India.
