Public Service Commission, West Bengal (WBPSC) Govt. Of West Bengal invites applications on the prescribed format from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as are declared eligible by Govt. of India for recruitment to following posts are temporary but likely to be permanent. Educational Qualifications:
Lecturer For Foundation Course -> M. Ed. / M.Ed. ( Elementary ) with 55% marks (or) M.A. in Education with 55 % marks and Diploma / Degree in Primary / Elementary Education with 55 % marks - all from recognized University / Institutes.
Lecturer For Methodology Course -> A Master's Degree of two years duration ( regular ) course, with Honours at Graduation Level, having at least 55% marks in relevant school teaching subject and Diploma /Degree in Education / Primary Education with 55% marks - all from recognized University / Institutes.
Motor Vehicles Inspector (Technical) -> i) Pass in School Final or its equivalent examination; ii) A diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institution; iii) Two years' experience in an Automobile Workshop of repute; iv) Driving license for heavy vehicles.
Motor Vehicles Inspector (Non-Techinacal) -> i) A degree of a recognised University. (ii) Candidates should fulfil the minimum physical standards: Height - 170 Cms., 160 Cms. (for Hillmen & Tribal candidates) Chest - 86 Cms. (after expiration) 81 Cms. (after expiration) [for Hillmen & Tribal candidates].
Application Fee: Rs.160/- only for all the posts by Indian Postal Order and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head "0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees'. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted. No fee for S.C./S.T. of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under Persons With Disabilities Rules, 1999 are not required to pay any fee.

Scale of Pay: Rs.9,000/- - Rs.40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs.4,800/- for candidates with Master's Degree and Rs.9,000/- - Rs.40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs.4,700/- for candidates with Honours Degree.
Age Limit: Not more than 32 years on 01.01.2013. Relaxable upto 35 years for specially well qualified and experienced candidates and for persons holding substantive appointment in the Teaching branch of Education Department, West Bengal.
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree / Bachelor of Science / Master of Engineering /Master of Technology with Degree in Teaching/Education or its equivalent.
