Age Limit: 18 - 25 Years as on 1st January 2019. No relaxation in upper or lower age limit will be given.
Pay Scale: Pay Level 4/5 ₹ 25500 / 29200, Pay Level 2 / 3 ₹ 19900 / 21700
Minimum Educational Qualification:
| For the post of Pay Level 2/3 (Basic Pay ₹ 19900 / 21700) –> | Matric with 12th class pass or equivalent or higher education from recognized board. |
| For the post of Pay Level 4 (Basic Pay ₹ 25500) –> | Intermediate in Science with Maths and Physics. |
| For the post of Pay Level 5 (Basic Pay ₹ 29200) –> | Graduate Degree or equivalent. |
Examination Fee: Indian Postal Order (IPO) should be pledged in favour of 'PFA, East Central Railway' and payable at Hajipur.
| For SC / ST, Women, Minorities and Economic BC Candidates –> | ₹ 500/-. ₹ 400/- will be refunded to candidates actually appearing in the trial. |
| For all other Candidates –> | ₹ 250/-. Full amount will be refunded to candidates actually appearing in the trial. |
How to Apply: Eligible candidates apply in the prescribed application format (neatly typed or hand written either in English or Hindi) on a A-4 size paper and should be filled in own hand writing. One recent passport size photograph duly signed to be pasted on the application form.
Candidates should send the application alongwith necessary certificates/ documents to General Manager (Personnel), Recruitment Section, E.CRailway Headquarter Office, Hajipur, Distt- Vaishali, Bihar, PIN-844101 by ordinary post only. The candidate may also drop the application in the drop-box provided for the purpose in the above mentioned office up to 18.00 Hrs. on or before 04/09/2018 (Closing date for remote-area cansisates - 19/09/2018). Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years (The age of sports person will be reckoned as on 01.01.2018). No Age Relaxation.
Pay Scale: Pay Level 2/3, Basic Pay ₹ 19900 / 21700 (equivalent to Pay Band ₹ 5200 - 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 1900/ 2000 as per 6th CPC) AND Pay Level 4/5, Basic Pay ₹ 25500 / 29200 (equivalent to Pay Band ₹ 5200 - 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 2400/ 2800 as per 6th CPC)
Minimum Educational Qualification:
(a) In Grade Pay ₹ 1900/2000 -> 12th Pass or equivalent or higher education from recognized Board
(b) In Grade Pay ₹ 2400 -> Intermediate in Science with Maths & Physics (If recruited in Technician Grade)
(c) In Grade Pay ₹ 2800 -> Graduation or equivalent.
Minimum norms for recruitment of sports persons in Group ‘C’ category: International Championships/Events are categorized as under:-
Category-A: Olympic Games (Senior Category)
Category-B: World Cup (Junior/Senior Category), World Championship (Junior/Senior Category), Asian Games (Senior Category), Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)
Category-C: Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category), Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior Category), USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
Exam Fee: ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Candidates; ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PWDs (40% or above disabilities), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes. The fee in the form of IPO (Indian Postal Order) should be pledged in favour of 'FA&CAO, East Central Railway’ and payable at Hajipur.
How to Apply: The prescribed application format should be neatly typed or hand written either in English or Hindi on A-4 size paper and should be filled in own hand writing. One passport size photograph should be pasted at the specific space on the application form duly signed on the top by the candidate. Two similar passport size photographs (same as affixed in the application form duly signed on the top) should be clipped along with the Application Form. Self attested copies of certificates in support of age, caste (applicable for Central Government services), educational qualification, sports achievements & other qualifications should be enclosed along with the Application. Indian Postal Order (IPO) of prescribed amount also to be enclosed with the application. In case of serving employee “No Objection Certificate” from the employer should be attached.
