Border Security Force (BSF - Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs Directorate General) will hold an All India Examination for recruitment to the Sub-Inspector / Junior Engineer (Electrical) in BSF Enigneering Set up for the year-2013.

Educational Qualification: Three years diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.
Physical Standard: Height - 165 cms for Male, 157 cms for Female; Chest - 76-81 cms for Male, Not applicable for Female; Weight - Proportionate to height and age as per standards for Male, According to height but not less than 46 Kgs for Female.
Medical Standard:
(I) Eye Sight - The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both the eyes without correction (i.e. without wearing of glasses).
(ii) Should not have knock knees, Flat Foot, Varicose Veins or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. The candidates will be tested for colour vision by Ishahara's test as well as Edrich- Green Lantern Test. They must be a good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
