Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Indian Economic Service (IES) / Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2013. A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Grade IV of the Services. UPSC IES-ISS Exam commencing from 9th November, 2013.

Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2013 , i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1983 and not later than 1st August, 1992.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2013 as per Regulations of the rules for the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2013 published in Gazette of India dated 17th August 2013.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. Excepting Female/SC/ST/ PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee.
